Turcotte Keeps Busy With Football, Vehicle Repairs

Wolf Point Senior

Playing football and repairing vehicles are two of the favorite things for Wolf Point High School senior Conway Turcotte.

Turcotte has played football for five years and is an offensive lineman for the Wolves. “I just like playing,” he said.

One of the aspects that he enjoys is spending time with his teammates.

His other sport is golf. This will be his fourth year on the team.

Turcotte’s goal for this spring’s season is “trying to make it to state for golf as a team.”

Hobbies for him include fishing and hunting. He says he caught a six-foot fish out of the Missouri River this past summer.

An enjoyment for him is working at Northern Prairie Auto as a shop mechanic.

His biggest job has been replacing an exhaust manifold.

In school, his favorite class is weight lifting.

His favorite teacher is Anthony Red Cloud, who is also his football coach. “He helps me with a lot of things,” Turcotte explained.

After high school, Turcotte plans to become an automotive technician by attending either MSU Northern or WyoTech in Laramie, Wyo.
