The Munich Affair, by James Patterson and David Ellis is a thriller/historical fiction, but based on actual events! This story begins in pre-war Munich. Adolf Hitler is on his way up, with all of his plans for conquest and the elimination of the Jewish people. But a detective, Thomas Bauer, sees the “real” Hitler, the one with the demonic aspirations.
When Hitler’s niece if found shot, the Nazis that provide protection for Hitler, report that it was a suicide. But Bauer is not convinced, and risks his wife and family’s safety, to prove that Hitler was the killer. Journalist Fritz Gerlich, also isn’t buying the party line, so together they plot to take him out.
Years later, Professor Robbins, a researcher, uncovers the history of Thomas Bauer and delves into what really happened in Munich. This is a page turner for sure!

She reaches out with an invitation to her old friends, to meet together for a weekend.
