Wild Sky Wins Cannabis Cup

Several local dispensaries picked up honors at this year’s High Times Cannabis Cup Saturday, Sept. 5, at The Pub Station in Billings.

Several first-place trophies went to Glasgow’s Wild Sky Farms, who won in both hybrid and indica categories, with their Purple Push Pop strain and Baby Yodaz, respectively. They also took second in the solventless concentrates category with Rainbow Chip.

Wild Sky has dispensaries in Glasgow, Poplar and Bainville at the state border with North Dakota on U.S. Highway 2. Their grow facility is based in Valley County.

The Bozeman-based Sacred Sun Farms was an early addition to the dispensary scene in Wolf Point. They took first place in the pre-roll division with their DJ Shorts Original Blueberry. They also took a second place in the solvent concentrates category with their Blue Octane strain.

Bloom Montana, which has a dispensary in Wolf Point, took second place in the infused pre-roll division with The Clear.

All told, 23 brands took home 33 medals across 11 categories in Billings.
