RedHawks Outlast Bulldogs In Five-Set Match
The Froid/Lake RedHawks held off a determined Bainville Lady Bulldogs team in a five-set volleyball battle on their home court.
Froid/Medicine Lake won the match 25-14, 18-25, 23-25, 25-14 and 15-11.
Froid/Lake’s Isabelle Nordwick delivered an all-around performance for Froid/Lake, recording seven kills, 11 digs and two blocks. Laytyn Davidson directed the Red-Hawks’ offense with seven assists, while Joelle Davidson and Camri Salvevold each served one ace.
Casey Myers led the Lady Bulldogs with nine kills and seven aces. Jodi Albus added eight kills to Bainville’s offensive effort.
The five-set match showcased the determination of both teams as momentum shifted throughout the evening. Bainville pushed the RedHawks to the finish, but Froid/Lake defended its home court by finding one final surge in the deciding set.
