Wolf Point Celebrates Homecoming This Week

Although it’s early in the school year, a full slate of activities are scheduled to celebrate Wolf Point’s homecoming this week.

Every day has a special theme to encourage students and staff to dress up in fun gear.

Monday, Aug. 31, was Character Day when students dressed as their favorite book, video or movie character and Tuesday, Sept. 1, was Adam Sandler Day — dress in your favorite Adam Sandler outfit.

On Wednesday, Sept. 2, it’s Wild West vs. West Coast Day where students can dress like a cowboy or a surfer/valley girl/singer.

Maroon and White Day is Thursday, Sept. 3. A pep rally will be held in the Wolf Point High School gym.

On Friday, Sept. 4, it’s Game Day and Dance Day. The homecoming parade begins at 1 p.m. down Main Street.

The Wolves will have their home opening football game against Colstrip at 7 p.m. on Friday. A dance will start after the game. The semi-final black and white homecoming dance will run until midnight. There is free admission. The dance is sponsored by the Wolf Point High School student council.

On Saturday, Sept. 5, Wolf Point’s volleyball team hosts Harlem with action starting at 1 p.m.
