Area Athletes Hoop It Up During Rez Summer Slam

Teams Win Titles At Tourney

A large number of threeon- three basketball teams hit the outdoor courts again this past weekend in Wolf Point for the annual Rez Summer Slam.

Teams emerging with division titles were Hot Shots for the first and second grade, the Mustangs for third and fourth grade boys, the Court Queens for third and fourth grade girls, Rez Summer Slam for fifth and sixth grade boys, Pink Fever of Glasgow for fifth and sixth grade girls, Fort Peck for seventh and eighth grade boys, Fab 4 for ninth and 10th grade girls, Jitter’z for ninth and 10th grade boys, Shiznits for 11th and 12th grade girls, Strikesmany Elite for 11th and 12th grade boys and God Body for the men’s division.

Brock Copenhaver won the three-point shooting contest. Joe Bear placed second and Bryce Kirk took third place.
