Repatriation Walk Scheduled For Friday

The Fort Peck Assiniboine and Sioux Tribes Cultural Preservation Department, staffed by Tribal Historic Preservation Officers, is hosting a Carlisle Boarding School Repatriation Awareness Walk on Friday, July 31, to mark the return of the remains of Christine Redstone, Peter Howe and Richard Morgan to the reservation.

The walk will begin at 7 a.m. at Porcupine Creek in Nashua at the western edge of the Fort Peck Reservation. The walk is scheduled to end at Big Muddy Creek, east of Brockton.
