Boys Nation

Culbertson’s Harrison Green attended the 80th session of Boys Nation in Washington, D.C., July 17-25. “For me it was a very heartfelt experience,” Green said. “In a smaller community, it’s easy to be one of the best. However when you go somewhere like that it shows you there’s bigger fish. It showed me how to be humble, but also believe in myself and my own capabilities. I had many great experiences and made lifelong friends.” Green said highlights of the trip included meeting Montana senators Steve Daines and Tim Sheehy. “They took us all over D.C., including Capitol Hill with the Supreme Court and much more. They also took us to Arlington National Cemetery and the Lincoln Memorial.” For more information about Boys and Girls State activities, as
