HUB Serves As Sponsor For Pink Golf Tournament
HUB Insurance has stepped up to be the sponsor for the Tough Enough To Wear Pink golf tournament to be held at the Wolf Point Airport Golf Course on Thursday, July 9.
The annual golf tournament is scheduled to run from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Then, Tough Enough To Wear Pink is recognized at that night’s rodeo.
The golf tournament featured 29 four-person teams last summer for the scramble.
Entry fee includes nine holes of golf and lunch.
Since 2009, the Tough Enough to Wear Pink program in Wolf Point has raised $83,627.47. The highest amount of funds raised at the local level prior to 2023 was $4,304 in 2016. The record amount raised for a year was $10,537 in 2023, which was the Stampede’s 100th year. Tough Enough to Wear Pink provides a nationally-recognized campaign and framework for rodeos and western events to help them promote breast cancer awareness and fundraising to benefit their local communities.
Since its inception in 2004, TETWP has empowered rodeos and western events in the U.S. and Canada to focus attention on the need for a cure. To date, the campaign has raised over $41 million for breast cancer charities, much of which stays right in the community.
Thanks to the support of local individuals and businesses, the Tough Enough to Wear Pink campaign held during the Wolf Point Wild Horse Stampede in 2025 posted near record numbers.
Last year’s local total raised was $5,990. With a $2,500 gift from Tough Enough To Wear Pink of Montana, the total is $8,490.
In 2024, the total was $7,249. The $8,490 is the second highest in the history of Wolf Point’s TETWP fundraising.
