Male Charged With Felonies By Tribal Authorities
An 18-year-old male has been charged by Fort Peck Tribal authorities for attempted murder, aggravated assault and partner or family member assault after an incident in Poplar during the early morning hours of Friday, July 3.
A deputy for the Roosevelt County Sheri_’s Oce was patrolling Poplar when it was noticed that a group of young males were standing on a corner, yelling and looking toward the baseball field. One of the juvenile said that two females were fighting in a dugout. A juvenile also said that a person had been stabbed.
The Fort Peck Tribes Department of Law and Justice also responded to the call and arrested Brian Mail Jr. The suspect allegedly stabbed one juvenile and assaulted a juvenile sister.
