‘Aminiasi ‘Tim’ Tatafu

‘Aminiasi Tonga Tatafu (aka Tim), 63, of Malta died Wednesday, June 24, 2026.

He was born July 27, 1962, to 'Ailine Naitoko Tatafu of Kolomotu'a and Timote Tanakitau Tatafu of Niuatoputapu, Kingdom of Tonga, South Pacific.

He was a devoted husband to his wife, Terry; and a proud father to his children, Levi Tatafu, Jason Tatafu, Bryan Tatafu, Brianna Shores, Quint Olson and Curt Olson.

He is also survived by his sisters, Alisi Tatafu Kane and Lily Moore; brother, Timote Jr. Tatafu; and numerous grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Tanakitau Tatafu.

Above all else, he cherished his family and found his greatest joy in the moments spent together. Known for his unwavering faith, kind heart, steady presence, sense of humor and generosity, he touched the lives of many.

His funeral service was held Friday, July 3, at the Wilderness Funeral Home in Malta.
