Poplar Will Hold Fourth Of July Celebration

Poplar will celebrate Fourth of July with a Independence Day Parade at Legion hall at 11:30 a.m. There will be prizes for first through third place.

All individuals are encouraged to join in by decorating a float, driving a hot rod, pulling a wagon or riding a bike.

Face painting and watermelon follows the parade.

The Poplar Volunteer Fire Department and Fort Peck Tribal Elves will hold fireworks at dusk.
