MFU Supports Youth Development Awards

As part of its commitment to supporting family farmers and ranchers through education, legislation and cooperation, Montana Farmers Union and its locals have awarded a combined $22,750 in student scholarships with awards to more than 20 students, the grassroots organization has announced.

“It’s inspiring to see what these next generation leaders have in mind for their futures, not only for themselves, but for their communities. Montana Farmers Union and its Foundation are proud to make such an important investment in Montana’s next generation of leaders,” MFU’s executive director Rachel Prevost said.

Eastern Montana winners included: Lilly Johnson of Froid, $1,500 MFU Lauren Prevost of Lambert, $500 MFU Meredith Sackman of Terry, $250 MFU Dawson Hammond of Malta, $250 MFU Tylee Huft of Miles City, $250 MFU
