Wild West Days Brings Fun To Poplar

Despite cool and cloudy weather, area residents were able to celebrate during Poplar’s annual Wild West Days on Thursday through Sunday.

Activities were highlighted with a pair of parades during the weekend.

Individuals were treated to a Northern Rodeo Association rodeo on Saturday and a ranch rodeo on Sunday at the Poplar Saddle Club.

Other activities on Saturday included a community rummage sale, pie social and a ping pong drop A street dance capped the night for many individuals.

On Friday, participants enjoyed their time in horseshoe and cornhole tournament along with an entertaining tug-of-war competition.
