Man Dies In North Dakota Fatality
The North Dakota Highway Patrol has identified the man killed in a crash on Highway 2 east of Palermo, N.D., on Monday, June 1.
According to the report, 22-year-old Mark Eliason of New Town, N.D., was driving a GMC Sierra south on 67th Avenue Northwest when he failed to yield to an eastbound Ford Expedition on Highway 2. Eliason is originally from Glasgow.
Eliason was pronounced dead at the scene. Troopers say he was not wearing a seat belt.
Driving the Expedition was 59-year-old Monah Lee of Minot, N.D. She suffered minor injuries.
