Bainville BPA Students Attend National Event
On May 6, Bainville BPA sent 14 student competitors to Nashville, Tenn., for the 2026 National Leadership Competition where 24 states competed.
Student who traveled to the National Leadership Conference this year were seniors Isabelle Anderson, CoraMay Theige, Addison Hansen, Rowan Wilson, Hailey Berwick and Chandi Johnson; juniors Owen Theige, Rylan Iverson and Azure Mahoney; sophomores Evan Anderson and Soren Batt; and freshmen Logan Telck, Charles Johnston and Tenley Berwick.
Bainville had top 10 qualifi ers in three events. Cora-May Theige placed sixth in integrated oce applications; Soren Batt placed eighth in server administration using Microsoft; and the administrative support team consisting of Isabelle Anderson, Evan Anderson, CoraMay Theige and Owen Theige placed ninth.
While at the conference students attended several professional workshops including: Speak with Impact, Even if You’re Terrified, What Colleges Want (and how to stand out), Raising Caines (AI and future employment), Empty Your Backpack, College Fair and Chain of Love for Special Olympics.
The group also got to do some fun tours while in Nashville. They spent time swimming at the Soundwaves water park, got to see country music history in action at the Grand Ol’ Opry Country Classic Edition, and heard great Nashville style music and have dinner on the riverboat cruise hosted by General Jackson’s.
