Wolf Point City Council Meets, Approves Home Purchase Offer

The Wolf Point City Council held their regular meeting April 20. Treasurer’s cash reports were approved, as were claims and payroll.

Greg Lukasik provided an update on wastewater system improvements. Ongoing repairs on Main Street are expected to take a little longer than planned. Crews will be continuing with work all the way down Main Street to Wolf Point High School. They are averaging about one block per week. He said he’s hoping work will be complete by Stampede in July. Two draw requests were approved by the council.

The creation of a four-person committee was approved to handle pricing and other details on city-owned houses being put up for sale, including one pending oer.

A resolution was passed accepting a bid of $150,000 for the city-owned property at 420 Custer St.

A bid of approximately $104,000 was approved for the annual city parks maintenance contract. The next regular meeting is set for May 18.
