Healing Our Relations Program Scheduled In Poplar April 14-15
Healing Our Relations, a program that aims to build respect, resilience and balance, is scheduled for Tuesday, April 14, and Wednesday, April 15, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Thundering Buffalo Health and Wellness Center in Poplar.
The program on April 14 is open to all tribal program staff. All community members are encouraged to attend the presentations on April 15. Fort Peck Tribal Health is organizing the informational days.
Topics on April 14 will include “Understanding Lateral Violence and Lateral Violence Impacts,” and “Naming Healing Pathways to Build a Culture of Respect and Support.”
The program on April 15 will feature “Understanding Lateral Violence and Lateral Violence Impacts” and “Naming Healing Pathways to Build Community Respect and Lateral Kindness.”
Guest speakers will include Andrea French and Kayla Burns of the National Native Children’s Trauma Center.
