Poplar’s Golf Program Aims For Solid Season In 2026
Poplar’s golf squad features nine players this season under first-year head coach Landon Young.
The program includes six boys and three girls. The boys’ team consists of senior Lucas Young, sophomore Rollen Spotted Bull, senir Royal Crawford, eighth-grader Graeysen Young, freshman Tristan Arthur and freshman Kenshin Smith.
Young, a senior, qualified for the Class B state tournament last year.
The girls’ team features junior Frankie Crawford, sophomore Masina Youpee and senior Bree Brown.
All three of the girls golfed for the Indians last season.
The top 15 golfers will qualify for the state meet.
“Hopefully, we can get the boys’ team and all three girls to state,” Coach Young said.
