Culbertson School Board Meets

The Culbertson School Board met in regular session on Tuesday, March 17 at 6:30 p.m. Trustees present included chair Chris Petersen, Wendy Becker, Amber Fox, Lisa Steppler and Verlin Steppler (via phone).

Representatives were Nicole Simonsen, Mike Olson Janessa Parenteau, Dave Solem and Lora Finnicum.

A motion was passed to hire Lynnette Nickelson as guest teacher, pending background check. A motion was approved to open Route #3 for bids. The contract should coincide with the end of the other route driver’s contracts.

A summer course for driver’s education with Dave Solem was approved.

The board approved a Resolution of Intent to Impose an Increase in Levies of $33,493 for the 2026-2027 Elementary Transportation Budget and $13,885 for the 2026-2027 High School Transportation Budget.

A multi-district agreement was approved between the elementary and high school districts for fiscal years 2026-2029.

The next meeting was scheduled for Tuesday, April 21, at 6:30 p.m.
