Gordon LittleHead Sr.

Gordon D. LittleHead Sr., 69, of Wolf Point died March 6, 2026, in Wolf Point.

He was born Nov. 28, 1956, in Wolf Point, the sixth child born to Arnold C. LittleHead Sr. and Elaine (White Hawk) LittleHead Cantrell. He attended schools in Wolf Point and Lander, Wyo.

He enlisted in the Army Oct. 12, 1976, and was stationed in Germany. He was honorably discharged Aug. 14, 1978.

After he returned home, he worked at a lot of jobs. He worked for the Tribes, the City of Wolf Point, and he seismographed for quite a few years. He seismographed in North Dakota, South Dakota and Wyoming at different times, sometimes returning to the same state but different locations. He also worked for A& S for nine years until its closing. After that, he went to work for the post office for 18 years. Due to health reasons, he retired early.

In 1981, he met Dinah and they married in 1982. Together, they had two sons, Robert and Gordon Jr.

He loved fishing, camping, boating and flying across the water at top speed. His first boat was Lyman Clayton’s 1967 blue closed-bow boat. He was happy backing that old boat down at the marina among all the fancy speed boats, pontoons, Crestliners and others. He got it out on
