Standing Bear, Moran

Performer Stella Standing Bear (left to right) and organizer Andrew Shaye Moran pose after their fashion show and meet and greet March 11 in Poplar. “The culture fashion show and concert featured Stella Standing Bear performing, with designers Chelysea Owen, Jackie Bird and Harmony Straub,” Moran told the Northern Plains Independent. “Twenty youth models from the Fort Peck Reservation and 10 elders, Eloise and Donna Youngman, opened the show. The crowd was excited and Stella had many genuine moments with fans during the meet and greet.” Another fashion show and concert is planed for April 18 at Poplar High School featuring Rebekah Jarvey, Norma Flying Horse and Red Berry Woman, Lisa C.
