Jim and Margaret Vaira visited Frances Steppler Friday afternoon. Cal, Jane and Dean Steppler left for Billings Sunday. Cal was admitted to St. Vincent’s hospital Tuesday morning where he underwent surgery. He was dismissed Wednesday evening. They returned home Thursday.
Word was received here by friends that Lena Grace Snedigar, a former resident of the Elmdale community was hospitalized for a few days in the White Sulphur hospital. She was dismissed Thursday evening.
The Alvin Riesland sheep shearing crew finished shearing in the Elmdale community Saturday.
John and Sonja Smart of Geraldine, spent a few days recently visiting relatives in Sidney and with Sonja’s mother Lorainne and Bob Traeger, Mona and her sister Barbie and Duane Hekkel of Culbertson. They came to visit Sonja’s sister Penny Muth of Palmer, Alaska, who has been here since February 13 at the Traeger home. Penny left Sunday for Seattle, Wash. where she will visit her Aunt Wilma Faulk and attend a buyers show before returning to Palmer.
Delores Irigoin received word that her sister Charlotte Rahn of Great Falls was admitted to a hospital in Spokane, Wash. She was dismissed the first of the week and spent a few days with her daughter Patrice and Conley Lord in Missoula before coming home to Great Falls.
David Steppler returned home Saturday from Helena where he was a page sponsored by Rep. Dave Kasten of Circle. He was a guest of his aunt and uncle Gloria and Jim Paladichuk while in Helena.
