Far Out & Waiting Series Comes To Brockton

In partnership with Mona Homemakers, Missouri River Ranchers 4H Club and Sidney Health Center, Montana Farmer’s Union is offering a training series on concussion and head trauma, stop the bleed and tourniquet application, hypothermia and heat-related issues, EMS response time and logistics and more at the Elmdale Hall in Brockton March 23 at 7 p.m.

Topics include concussion and head trauma, stop the bleed and tourniquet application, hypothermia and heat-related issues, EMS response time and logistics. Pesticide Applicators Credit offered.

Said a press release from MFU, “On average, rural communities have a 30+ minute wait for EMS to arrive and for producers, that wait is even longer. Learn what you can do while waiting to help save a life.”

The program also offers updates and opportunities from MFU and the chance to meet and get involved with MFU members!

A meal will be provided by Missouri River Ranchers 4H Club!

The event is open to MFU members, friends and the public. RSVP required.
