Russell Corpron
Russell “Boze” Corpron died Monday, Feb. 16. 2026, in Wolf Point.
Born to Alice Archdale Corpron and James Corpron, he joined a large family, growing up with several cousins as brothers and sisters.
He lived life to the fullest. From his crazy teenage years, of raising heck, to well in to his 30s. He would try anything once, twice if he liked it. Not being one to sit still, a book can be written on is many shenanigans. These stories would not be complete without his “brother’s keeper” or his “partner in crime,” Darrell Lee. The Corpron brothers experienced life at a fierce pace completing these journeys with jobs, wives, children, grand- and great-grandchildren. His seven children were his world.
He was a long-time employee of the Fort Peck Housing Authority as an inspector. His presence at work was full of spunk spreading jokes and laughs daily. He worked under his boss and mentor, Clyde Bauer, who would become his trusted advisor and confident, transforming his professional potential into a career. He was loyal to his job, providing a safe and sustainable home for many reservation families. After his time at FPHA, he also inspected for Housing Improvement Program until his health forced him to retire.
He was baptized into the Catholic faith on Aug. 21, 2016, along with his baby girl, Ali.
He was unique and his trades were that of a carpenter, mechanic, truck driver, radio jockey, electrician and plumber to name a few but
