TEB Reinstates Douglas As Housing Authority Director
The Fort Peck Tribal Executive Board held their full board meeting Monday, Dec. 8.
The board voted to hereby accepts TPA Funding in the amount of $6,505 for the Housing Improvement Program.
Louella Douglas was approved for reinstatement as the director of the Fort Peck Housing Authority with back pay.
The board voted to approve the TTP/IRR Roads Dept. to allow each worker a $500 allowance for cold weather gear. Total amount requested by resolution is unsure at this time. Three maintenance workers and five emergency workers total $4,000.
The TTP/IRR Maintenance Program was approved to Purchase a 2014 international Snow Plow for the amount of $28,180.50.
Change Order #1 for the Brockton Lagoon Project was approved in the amount of $19,588.57.
The board voted to extend a contract with CKF Consulting to September 30, 2026 in the amount of $100,000.
Fort Peck Tribal Health was approved to give Kate Crosby a star quilt and plaque.
Terry Rattling Thunder was appointed as the IT Department director, with Pryce Paulson as alternate if needed.
The board approved the formation of the Fort Peck Tribes Homeless Shelter Board.
TEB is the duly elected body representing the Assiniboine and Sioux Tribes of the Fort Peck Reservation and is empowered to act on behalf of the Tribes. All actions shall be adherent to provisions set forth in the 1960 Constitution and By-Laws.
The next full board meeting is set for Dec. 22.
