Keiser’s Interests Include Football, Vehicle Work
Wolf Point senior Gabe Keiser has been a steady player for the school’s football program during his high school years.
He started at right tackle for the Wolves, and it’s a position that he enjoyed playing. “It’s challenging,” Keiser explained.
He finds satisfaction when a running back or quarterback runs for a good gain due to the blocking of the offensive line.
Keiser said the recently completed season was his favorite one playing for the Wolves.
“You kind of feel like a leader when you’re a senior,” he said.
Hobbies for him include riding dirt bikes and working on vehicles. In fact, he pretty much built his truck, a 2002 Dodge Dakota, from the ground up. Work included changing the suspension and the drive train along with a lot of body improvements including painting. Jobs for Keiser has included carpentry and concrete work. He said one reason that he participates in only one sport is because of the jobs available to him.
At school, his favorite class is weight training.
His favorite teacher is Will Larsen because the teacher challenges students and relates well with them.
Keiser’s plans after high school include enlisting in the Air Force and study in an electrical field. “I think there’s a lot of jobs for that in the real world,” he said.
