Lois Brown

Lois L. Brown, 84, of Wolf Point died Nov. 1, 2025, at the Billings Hospital Clinic.

She was born Sept. 7, 1941, in Wolf Point to John and Lou (Langager) Lindsay. She was the oldest of three siblings.

She married soon after graduating from Wolf Point High School to David K. Brown of Vida, who was actively serving in the U.S. Navy. She was a Navy wife and mother for nearly 20 years. They were stationed in San Diego, Calif.; Guam; Whidbey Island, Wash.; San Diego, Calif.; and Alameda, Calif. When he retired, they settled in Susanville, Calif., and instantly fell in love with the town and region. She loved raising animals, specifically horses — although, she had countless dogs, chickens, goats, cats and the list goes on.
