Wienke Faces Drug Possession Charge

Shadey Ann Marie Wienke is facing the felony charge of criminal possession of dangerous drugs in district court.

According to court documents, the Montana Highway Patrol stopped Wienke on Sept. 17, after a traffic violation. The Cadillac DeVille came to a stop at the intersection of U.S. Highway 2 and 11th Avenue N. in Wolf Point at around 10:21 p.m.

The vehicle continued for about 1,000 feet after emergency lights were initiated before pulling over.

The highway patrol was the secondary unit behind a tribal officer.

Driver of the vehicle was Darrell Maroon and there were four passengers including Wienke.

It was confirmed that Wienke had active warrants for her arrest.

After placing her under arrest, Wienke disclosed that she had a meth pipe on her person. The pipe later field-tested positive for meth.
