Foote Appreciates Teams In Wolf Point

Senior Profile
Wolf Point High School senior Jesse Foote’s involvement at the school includes being a member of both the football and basketball programs.
Foote plays linebacker and tight end for the Wolves’ football team. He prefers those positions to his former one on the offensive and defensive lines. “It’s more movement and you don’t have to be in a stance,” Foote said.
The senior got off to a strong start for the Wolves this season until he missed time with an injured ankle.
Still, he is enjoying the time with his teammates. “I’m having fun,” he said.
This marks his fourth year playing high school basketball for the Wolves.
Although he’s only 6-1, Foote’s position is center. He said he tries to make up for his lack of height by hustling and being positive.
His goals for the upcoming basketball season are qualifying for the divisional tournament and maybe going as far as the state tourney. “We have the team to do it,” Foote said. As far as hobbies, Foote likes to hang out and play basketball with friends.
His favorite class is culinary II. “It will help me in the long run,” Foote said.
He especially liked baking protein cookies recently. He said the cookies tasted decent and are more healthy for you.
Foote’s favorite teacher is Anthony Red Cloud. “He’s easy going,” Foote explained. “You just need to do your work out and don’t cause problems.”
After high school, Foote plans to join the work force. He mentions an interest in fire fighting and law enforcement. “I think construction might be my future,” he said.
