Randy Burshia of Wolf Point is one of the recipients of the Regional Manager of the Year award from McDonald’s.

He found out the big news recently from restaurant owner Emmanuel Leon, who owns the McDonald’s in Wolf Point, Glasgow and Sidney.

“He called me on my day off and said he had something for me,” Burshia said of the day that he received the award at the restaurant.

Burshia said the news was well received by other crew members in Wolf Point.

“They were all pretty excited about it,” he said.

Burshia is the general manager in training in Wolf Point. He has almost 10 years of experience at McDonald’s. He started working there at the age of 18.

He says the best part of being employed at the business is the crew. “They help me get through the day. We have fun when getting the work done.”

Burshia is pleased with the customer service that the Wolf Point McDonald’s provides its customers. “I’m proud of the crew. They have improved considerably compared to where we used to be,” he added.

He will be honored with other regional managers in Denver, Colo., in November.

“I think it’s a congratulatory type of thing,” Burshia said.
