Gas Prices Fall 2.6 Cents During Week
Average gasoline prices in Montana have fallen 2.6 cents per gallon in the last week, averaging $3.12/g on Monday, Oct. 6, according to GasBuddy’s survey of 615 stations in Montana. Prices in Montana are 12.7 cents per gallon lower than a month ago and stand 9.1 cents per gallon lower than a year ago. The national average price of diesel has increased 1.1 cents compared to a week ago and stands at $3.663 per gallon.
According to GasBuddy price reports, the cheapest station in Montana was priced at $2.85/g on Sunday, Oct. 5, while the most expensive was $4.19/g, a difference of $1.34/g. The national average price of gasoline has fallen 0.3 cents per gallon in the last week, averaging $3.08/g on Monday. The national average is down 10.8 cents per gallon from a month ago and stands 4.7 cents per gallon lower than a year ago, according to Gas-Buddy.
