Milfred Longee
Milfred Dale “Lil’man” Longee, 37, of Poplar died Sept. 23, 2025, at the Billings Clinic.
In his younger years, he danced grass until one day he stopped. He went to school in Poplar for a short while until he went to school in Billings Junior High, then moved to Havre. He talked about being a Havre Blue Pony while he was in sports until he decided to come back.
He was with the late Lisa Martell and, together, they had five children, Melissa, Fayebin, Romaine and Dale Longee. He was in their lives for quite some time and made fond memories with them.
He then met Samantha Savior in 2011. They started dating, hanging out and he moved in with her. He raised Aaron like his own. He worked at the sugar beets in Sidney from 2013-2016. They had their first son together in 2017. Their son, Ruffus Longee, was born on his mother Sam’s birthday. In 2019, their daughter, Mackenzie Longee, was born. He and Samantha married on Feb. 14, 2022.
He then started going to college for two years for welding. He liked sports. He played basketball or even just shooting around or throwing a football back and forth. He liked taking his children fishing, swimming or anywhere to spend time outdoors. He went to sun dances a couple times. He loved cruising, hanging out with his family and friends.
In September 2022, he first got sick. He became okay and slowly healed to where he wanted to go try playing machines. He liked to play cards, whist or spades. He would laugh at the ones he beat because
