Go-Getters Coming Up

The 59th annual Go-Getters Youth Rodeo is set for Sunday, Sept. 14. The queen contest (12 and under) begins at 9 a.m. sharp.

The order of events includes goat tying, barrel race, flag race, pole bending, key hole race steer undecorating, breakaway roping, team roping, sheep roping and a wild calf race.

Contestants must have preregistered by Tuesday, Sept. 9. No late entries will be accepted.

Prizes will be awarded in each age group, along with prizes for hard luck cowboy and cowgirl and the wild calf race. A tiara will be awarded to the winner of the queen contest. Del Hansen is arena director and Robert Toavs is announcer. T-shirts will be available for all participants.
