Dixie Fadness
Dixie Charlene Shamley Hansen Fadness was born Jan. 21, 1952, in Wolf Point, Mont., to E.R. “Tuffy” and Delphia Unruh Shamley.
Her first job was at the A& W at age 15 and later as a bus girl at the Elks Club. She married Lyle Hansen in June of 1970 and had three sons.
Dixie was active at Immaculate Conception Church having belonged to St. Ann’s Group of the Catholic Daughters, being a leader for two years of the Renew Movement and lecturing the Epistles at Masses for 15 years.
She held several different jobs, with the last nine years in Wolf Point as a secretary at Clayton Memorial Chapel. Having divorced in 1999, Dixie moved to Lewistown and worked as a bartender at The Sportsman’s, Doc Holliday’s
