Saint Marie Man Dies From Crash
Alex Strope, a 20-year-old Saint Marie man, was killed when the vehicle he was a passenger in was struck by a semi-truck on Wednesday afternoon, Sept. 3.
According to a report from the Montana Highway Patrol, the crash occurred at an intersection east of Glasgow.
The driver of the Pontiac sedan was driven by an 18-year-old man from Glasgow. The sedan was traveling south on Montana Highway 24.
According to the MHP the driver failed to yield.
An eastbound Agland Coop semi-truck struck the sedan on its passenger side.
Emergency crews transported the sedan’s passenger and driver to the hospital in Glasgow, where the Saint Marie man died of his injuries.
The driver of the semitruck, a Wolf Point man in his 60s, was not injured in the crash.
