Brockton’s Volleyball Squad Aims To Compete In District 2C

Brockton’s volleyball team features 14 players to battle in the District 2C this season.

Returning players for the Warriors include Raykira Track, Marlene Fish, Taylor Cummins, Tatawna Big Eagle, Reese De-Coteau, Danica Bull Calf, Taya Fish, Jade Olney and BraeLynn DeMarrias.

Newcomers include Quintana Young.

“They’re putting in the work. They’re working hard,” Coach Taylor Day.

She expects a good season for the Warriors.

“We’ve been doing a lot of hitting,” Day said. “We have some hard hitters and strong serving.”

The Warriors will open their season at a tournament in Culbertson on Saturday, Aug. 30.

Brockton will host Nashua on Thursday, Sept. 4.
