Wolves Return Solid Group Of Starters For Football Season

Wolf Point’s football team opens its campaign with about 13 returning starters combined on both sides of the ball.

“I think the strength of our team will be our experience with 21 combined juniors and seniors on the team this year,” Coach Anthony Red Cloud said.

Returning starters are Sean Hamilton at tight end and middle linebacker, Brady Four Bear at wide receiver and defensive back, Jayden Dominique at wide receiver and defensive back, Jesse Reed at running back and defensive end, Kasey Reed at quarterback, Tavian Bell at wide receiver and defensive back, Sam Boysun at linebacker, Aaryn Hamilton at offensive line, Richard Campbell at offensive line, Cole Holen at offensive line, Gabe Keiser at offensive line, Zandon Calder at both lines and Dashaun Jackson at defensive line.

Assistant coaches are Scott Montgomery, Ronnie Chavez and Cole Hanks.

Red Cloud said area that need to improve include the passing game and solidify the back end of the defense.

“Our goals for this year are to compete within the conference and make the playoffs,” Red Cloud said. “To accomplish these goals, we will need to stay focused, work hard and be committed to doing all the little things right.”

The coach sees Glasgow and Fairfield as among the pre-season favorites in the leagues.
