Chamber Planning Events
As the end of summer draws near, the Wolf Point Chamber of Commerce and Agriculture is keeping busy with activities.
On Thursday, Aug. 21, the Chamber is co-sponsoring a Sizzlin’ Social at the Sherman Inn’s front lawn.
“Everyone is welcome to attend,” chamber executive director Jayden Diener said. “It’s kind of a closeout on summer.”
The event runs from 5 to 10 p.m., with a happy hour from 5 to 6 p.m. Mars Daniel will provide music from 6 to 10 p.m.
Hamburgers, polish dogs and non-alcoholic drinks are free of charge. There will be a cash bar for alcoholic drinks.
People are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets to relax. There will be a chalk and bubble station for children.
Diener reminds residents that Montana poet laureate Chris La Tray will provide a program at the Roosevelt County Library in Wolf Point on Aug. 28 from 5:30 to 7 p.m. on Aug. 28.
Chamber officials are working plans on a beerfest at the Stampede grounds to be held on Oct. 11. The night will feature live music and food vendors.
