Culbertson Museum Hosts Festivities

The Culbertson Museum hosted birthday festivities over the past weekend. The museum is now in its 34th year.

Evie Heckmun told the Community News that approximately 60 people attended the two-day event. Dane Hansen won the annual quilt drawing.

The next big project at the museum will be repairing the north wall, which has been compromised by water and wind damage. Donations are being sought, as are staff and volunteers.

“We are always looking for people to volunteer during the hours that we are open,” said a press release from the board. “Paid positions are also available.”

A museum fundraiser raffle is under way through the first week in August, with a Blackstone grill on offer. Stop by the museum for tickets or visit Hi-Line Service, where they are also being sold.

Hours of operation are currently 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., daily. For more information, call 406-787-6320.
