Entries Being Accepted For Art In The Park
Wolf Point Chamber of Commerce and Agriculture executive director Jayden Diener has announced that registration is now open for this summer’s Art in the Park.
The tradition of the event being held during Stampede weekend continues since the event’s date is Saturday, July 12, at Sherman Park. There is a slight change regarding the hours since the times will be 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Diener noted that an attraction will be Miss Montana Rodeo holding a meetand- greet, courtesy of Jitterz Espresso. Children can also enjoy bouncy houses.
Vendors are anticipated to include local artisans, sellers and crafters. To register, call the chamber of 406-653-2012 or email wolfpointchamber@ gmail.com. In addition, Diener said that the Solbergs will provide a “Rock of Our Salvation” concert on Sunday, July 13, from 1 to 3 p.m. at the gazebo in Sherman Park. The concert will feature the worship team from First Baptist Church of Wolf Point.
The chamber held its first Stampede clean-up day on June 1 at the Stampede grounds. The next clean-up day is scheduled for June 15 starting at 1 p.m.
Diener urges individuals who volunteered by attending any of the Reimaging Rural workshops to turn in their AmeriCorps forms. She will use all volunteer hours to help obtain grants.
