Rock Of Ages Opens At Fort Peck Theatre

Are you ready to Rock? Fort Peck Summer Theatre’s Rock of Ages is all about the music, featuring iconic classic rock 80s hits by Journey, Bon Jovi, Poison, Pat Benatar, Twisted Sister, Styx and many others.

Said a press release from the Fort Peck Fine Arts Council, “This five-time Tony Award nominated Broadway musical smash tells the story of a small-town girl, a city boy and a Rock’n’roll romance on the Sunset Strip. But when the bar where rock reigns supreme is set to be demolished, it’s up them and their band of friends of wannabe rock stars to save the day — and the music.”

Lauran Stanis serves as the production’s director and choreographer, with Luree Green-Chappell as musical director, leading a live onstage rock band.

Audience favorite Rache Franke, last seen as Bonnie in Bonnie & Clyde, stars alongside FPST newcomer Wyatt Buhler from Wyoming.

Showtimes are June 13-29, Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30 p.m. and Sundays at 4 p.m.

Following Rock of Ages, the 2025 season continues with Annie July 5-20, Disney’s Newsies July 25–Aug. 10 and the world premier of Dracula Aug. 15–31.
