Students Win Awards In Youth Art Contest


Wolf Point art students fared well in this year’s Mon-Dak Heritage Center’s youth art contest in Sidney. There were more than 400 entries representing 13 eastern Montana schools in the annual contest.
Bella Peters earned first place in color works and third place in drawing for the seventh and eighth grade division.
Mackeria Schindler won first place in color works and second place for people’s choice in the 11th and 12th grade division.
Marley Moran placed second in drawing and color works for the 11th and 12th grade division. Receiving honorable mention for color works were Schindler and Arianna Mee.
Kaleah Whitebear earned first in the graphic contest. Mee took second for 3-D and Cloe Serawop-Imus placed third for mixed media.
