Thanks to the NFHS, the community could enjoy the volleyball tournament in Scobey while continuing to teach school, or carry on our responsibilities at home. The LCHS volleyball team entered the tournament in fourth place in the season’s standings and kept that place at tournament, winning their matches over Nashua Thursday. They lost to Circle and won against Frazer, which set up their Friday play against Scobey, who had won over Nashua, but lost to North Country earlier.
The LCHS team has had a good season and watching all the games was enjoyable. The Circle Wildcats are the defending State Volleyball Champions and with Scobey and North Country, advance to Divisional play next weekend.
The junior high and jamboree basketball season continued with Nashua coming to Lustre on Saturday.
