Pixine Zieske

Pixine Marie “Pixie” Zieske, 70, of Richey died Sept. 4, 2026, in Billings.

She was born May 7, 1956, to Arthur and Francine (Machart) Snare in Scobey, the oldest of four children, followed three brothers, Jody, Jack and Jamey. She spent her childhood on the family farm near Peerless, where she learned the value of hard work and many of the life skills that would stay with her throughout her life.

She graduated from Peerless High School, where she was active in 4-H and basketball and played softball during the summers. She made many lifelong friends and was always proud to be a Peerless Panther and Hellcat.

She was a devoted sister who shared a special bond with each of her brothers. She and Jamey talked nearly every day and she loved hearing about the many adventures of Jody. She also enjoyed spending time with Jack, especially during the summer weeks they spent cooking together at Eastern Montana Bible Camp.

In 1975, she married Clarence “Butch” Zieske. Together, they built a life centered around family and love. Daughter Brook was born in 1976. Catrina and Toni soon followed, and their family was completed with the birth of youngest daughter, Keri. They shared 51 years of marriage. She was a devoted and supportive partner, standing beside Butch and supporting him during his teaching and coaching career. In 1992, the family moved to Richey.
