Wadopana Begins Friday

The annual Wadopana Traditional Celebration is set for Aug. 7-9 in Wolf Point, with a camping day planned for Thursday, Aug. 6. A community feed is set for Thursday at 5:30 p.m., followed by a kahomani at 7 p.m. The powwow grounds are located behind the Sherman Inn.

Grand entries, specials and honorings will be held Friday at 7 p.m., Saturday at 1 and 7 p.m. and Sunday at 1 p.m. Kids games are planned for Sunday morning. Announcer will be Patrick Ricker and Justin White will be arena director.
