Commissioners Approve Service For IT Work
Roosevelt County commissioners approved an agreement with the Montana Association of Counties for IT services.
The county received the resignation from Jenna Presser as IT director in late May.
Commissioner Robert Toavs said the service will cost $7,500 a month. Coverage will include support access, e-mail security and managing wi-fi. “Hopefully, this is a short-term deal and we can get someone hired for the county,” Toavs said.
During the meeting, commissioners accepted the resignation of Patty Presser. She has worked for the health department for 19 years as a director and nurse. The retirement is effective on Sept. 30.
“We wish her the best,” Toavs said.
Commissioners agreed to purchase a Peterbilt semi for $40,000 for the road department. The truck will be used out of the McCabe shop.
