Gene Youngman

Gene Alfred “Baby Gene” Youngman, 50, of Poplar died May 4, 2026, in Poplar.

He was born on June 27, 1975, to Bernadette “Lucky Duck” LovesHim and Daryl “Kool Aid” Youngman in Poplar, where he lived his whole life. He graduated from Poplar High School.

He loved to cruise around and enjoyed hanging out with family. His favorite person was his mother. He enjoyed listening to AC/DC and Motley Crue while playing dice games. He is survived by his sisters, Zelda LovesHim and Margaret LovesHim; brother, Raymond LovesHim.

He was preceded in death by his sisters, Rebecca and Florence LovesHim.

Funeral services were held Friday, May 22, at the Poplar Cultural Center. Burial was at St. Ann’s Cemetery in Poplar.
