Morales Enjoys Role At Daycare Center

Bainville High School senior Keleigh Morales is already teaching younger children on a daily basis.

Morales, who completed her classes at the end of December, is working at a daycare in Williston, N.D. The center handles children between the ages of 1.5 to 5 years.

“I’ve always loved little kids,” Morales said.

In order to finish her high school course load, Morales took two English classes and two history classes during the fall semester.

As far as school involvement, she took statistics for the girls’ basketball team as a sophomore and junior.

“It got me more involved in school,” she explained. “It got me to talk with more people and make more friends.”

Her favorite classes have included art and then English taught by her mother, Sarah Morales.

Keleigh has been attending school in Bainville since the seventh grade when she transferred from Opheim.

“It is a really good community,” Keleigh said of Bainville. “There are a lot of nice people who are willing to help out.”
