Wolves Capture Tennis Victories
Wolf Point’s tennis team experienced a busy week with matches in Williston, N.D., and the Red Lodge Invitational in Billings.
“The girls really improved this weekend. It was really fun to watch,” Wolf Point Coach Dan Horsmon said. “There were a lot of good teams there.”
The doubles teams of Lauren Rodenberg/McKinlee Paulson and McKenzie Rodenberg/ Riley Schwarzrock each earned two victories during action in Williston on Tuesday, April 28. Afton Hanks and Tanna Guldborg also posted a victory in doubles.
Scoring victories in singles were Guldborg, Jeina Reum, Kai Villaluz and Hanks.
The doubles team of L. Rodenberg/Paulson posted a 5-1 record during the Red Lodge Invitational. M. Rodenberg/ Schwarzrock had a 3-3 record.
Guldborg and Reum earned three victories each in singles.
Scoring two wins were Villaluz and Hanks. Hailey GrayHawk won one match.
The Wolves will compete at the Townsend Invitational in Helena this weekend.
